Journey of Amrendra Anand, Da vinci of Hobbies

Amrendra Anand was born on 10th july 1954 in village-Jalley, District- Darbhanga, Bihar

In 1966, there used to be a Board Exam in the seventh class itself, while by filling the form of my board, my name was changed from Amar Kumar
Shrivastava to Amrendra Anand and the date of birth was changed to 2nd January 1956 which stayed for a lifetime with me.

My initial studies were done in village schools up to class 7, 8, & 9 at Bettiah Champaran.

In 1971 I have Passed Matriculation from Mazdoor High School, Sindri in Dhanbad and then passed my Intermediate in Science faculty from Raja Shiv Prasad College Jharia in 1973.

After that on 4th October 1974, due to
participation in the complete revolution of Shri Jai Prakash Narayan , I was arrested from Sindri and
sent to jail. After a gap of two years in studies, I could not do my further studies and It seems impossible to make engineering a career.

1975

Founded a company named Amar International in 1975

The desire to do something in life has not only thought of doing something or the other at every stage of life but did it. I founded a company
named Amar International in 1975, it is the first to promote world wide friendship and hobbies on an international level “PEN- PALS CLUB”

establishment. Again in November 1976 I started my career as an Agent in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) at Sindri Branch.

1981

My family journey started I got married on 12th July, 1981

I married Mrs. Kiran Kumari in 1981 who
later became Kiran Anand, our first daughter in 1984, second daughter in 1987 and my son came into my life in 1990.

1986

Joined LIC as Development Officer

I was posted as a Development Officer
in Dhanbad Branch-I in 1986, This inning ends after 30 years, in year 2016, I completed my duty from Life Insurance Corporation of India.

In 1992 & 1993 Awarded Ace Development Officer Award Highest Award In L.I.C. for Development Officer

PART - II

2016

31st January 2016, I started my second Inning of life and started my journey of passion
In 2017, Anand Heritage Gallery was established with the information and collectable items of various Indian historical heritage, which is result of my 50 years of obsession of my hobbies.
In January 2017, awarded Gold Medal under Philately Section in Kolyanchal Stamp Utsav, Dhanbad
In July 2018, me and my wife Smt. Kiran Anand awarded Gold and Silver medals respectively in 3rd Sate Level Philately Exhibition held at Ranchi.
In July 2018, me with my son Amritesh Anand exhibited our Gallery as “Cowrie to Credit Card” at Bihar Museum, Patna.
In 2019 with my son Amritesh Anand, exhibited our Philately collection on Princely States of India at Sydney, Australia with the collaboration of Philately Society of Sydney, Australia.
Participated in AMRITPAX -2023 MAHAKUMBH OF DAK TICKET, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi 11 Feb to 15 Feb 2023.Meet with Rail Minister Sri Ashwani Vaishnaw .
